Genie Programmer I is a standalone unit used to program any of the RENCO one-time Programmable Encoders. A backlit multi-line display and a 4 button user interface facilitate the reading and programming of the internal registers which set multiplication and index gating. Connection to the encoder is made through a standard 9 pin D-sub connector using four wires.

Remote operation with a PC can be done through the serial or USB port. An internal Data Table can contain up to 100 customer part numbers and pre-configured parameters.
