Encoder Warranty
RENCO ENCODERS, INC. warrants all RENCO products for a period of two years from date of manufacture when used as intended. For detailed warranty information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
All returns require an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) number to be processed at RENCO.
For In-Warranty Replacement of Defective Items

Be prepared to provide the following information:
- RENCO Part Number
- Part Date Code (4 digit number on label)
- Reject Number (if applicable)
- Brief description of problem
- P.O. Number (if applicable)
- Quantity of units to be returned
- Contact person, phone number, and e-mail address
RENCO Encoders will issue you an RMA(Returned Material Authorization) number. The RMA number should be placed on the shipping box so it is clearly visible.
You may also return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled via online ordering from renco.com within 30 days of shipment for a full refund excluding freight and export charges. Contact our Returns Department to request an RMA number. These items should be returned in their original product packaging and include a copy of the original packing slip. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.

If you would like to exchange a new unopened item purchased via online ordering at renco.com, our Returns Department can help you as well. You will be charged a shipping and handling fee for your replacement order if the replacement is not due to defective merchandise. RENCO will not be responsible for any applicable custom and export fees.
Return the items to be exchanged within 30 days of shipment in their original product packaging including a copy of the original packing slip. Address your package as shown above.
